Metro Police responded to the shooting call at 1111 Bell Road at around 10:30 p.m. They say the investigation reveals that the victim and a friend went to the location to purchase drugs.
The victim walked to the front passenger side window handed $20 dollars to the right front passenger, according to police. The suspect then began firing the pistol at the victim and his friend. The victim and his friend began to run as they were being shot at. The victim was struck and the suspect vehicle sped away.
The suspect is described as light skinned black male, about 20-years-old, tall, thin, has sunken cheeks, balding or short hair and armed with a semi-automatic pistol. The driver of the suspect vehicle was described as a 21-year-old white male with long blonde hair and a moustache. The suspect vehicle is said to be a red four-door 2006-07 Nissan Altima. The vehicle was missing hubcaps and had an Illinois license plate.
After the suspect vehicle fled the area, a passerby apparently saw the victim was injured and helped to get him into the back seat of his car. The passerby then drove the victim and his friend to Southern Hills Hospital.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
At this time, there are no known suspect(s).

Tenn. Powerball ticket worth $1 million
May 19, 2013 18:44 GMT
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Powerball ticket sold in Tennessee barely missed winning a share of an estimated $590.5 million prize. But the ticket has a nice consolation prize worth $1 million.
Officials say the Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Chattanooga.
There's no word yet on who won.
A Powerball ticket sold at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, Fla., matched all six numbers selected Saturday night for the estimated $590.5 million prize. It's the highest Powerball jackpot in history.
The winning numbers were 10, 13, 14, 22 and 52, with a Powerball of 11.
