WBFF Fox 45 :: Man Shot in Front of Clarksville Daycare Arrested
The man shot on September 6, in front of the daycare on Chapel Street in Clarksville has been charged after losing his job and trying to supplement his income by selling drugs.
Cederick Outlaw, 25, of 3446 Quicksilver Drive, was arrested after officers found a felony amount of drugs - 3.6 grams of cocaine and 72 grams of marijuana in his residence after a drug complaint. Outlaw admitted the drugs were his. During the investigation, it was revealed to the agent that that since Outlaw was new to his job and on probation and would not be able to work for four weeks after being shot, that he was fired.  In order to supplement his income after being fire, he was selling drugs.
Outlaw was booked into Montgomery County Jail and charged with Possession for Resale of Cocaine and Marijuana and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,250.Man Shot in Front of Clarksville Daycare Arrested

Prince Edward presents Edinburgh's awards in Tenn.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Queen Elizabeth's youngest son, Prince Edward, is visiting Tennessee to promote one of the British royal family's charities, the Duke of Edinburgh's awards.

The prince presided over an awards ceremony at the governor's mansion in Nashville on Thursday for the first batch of young Tennesseans to participate in the leadership and character program.

About 80 youths received the award by participating in community service, skills development, physical fitness and adventurous journeys through the Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, LEAD Academy, Montgomery Bell Academy or the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Organization.

Following the event, Gov. Bill Haslam and first lady Crissy Haslam invited the awardees and their families to tea inside the governor's residence. Later on Thursday, the prince was scheduled to headline a black-tie gala at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville.
