WBFF Fox 45 :: Police Find Missing Boy in Inglewood At A Friend's House
Words can't adequately explain the relief Penny Page when her 6 year old grandson finally returned home Saturday afternoon.

Steven Page was missing for four and a half hours after walking away from his grandmother's Inglewood Apartment

"He said can I go outside for a minute and I said yeah," said Page

The grandmother says a few minutes later she went outside and the 6 year old was nowhere to be found.

The family searched nearby apartments and eventually the search expanded to the woods behind the Inglewood apartment complex.

Aunt Angela Hebbeler says after hours of searching and finding nothing the family started to fear the worst.

"Is he gonna come back?  This world is crazy and when you have a kid missing that long it's scary," said Hebbeler.

As it turned out those worries were for nothing.

Steven was actually playing with a friend in an apartment across the street.

He came home safely after seeing his own picture on television reports.

"We're just so grateful to you guys and everybody that helped," said Hebbeler.

2 appellate court judges are stepping down
May 24, 2013 21:29 GMT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Two Tennessee appellate court judges have notified Gov. Bill Haslam that they will not run for another term on the bench in the August 2014 retention election.

Patricia J. Cottrell, a judge on the Court of Appeals, and Joseph M. Tipton, who sits on the Court of Criminal Appeals bench, will both leave after September of next year.

The announcements come after the state legislature left Tennessee without a way to replace judges who step down or die when a commission expires at the end of next month.

Members of the soon-to-be-defunct Judicial Nominating Commission will make recommendations for replacements to give to Haslam before the panel expires. Haslam will appoint the replacements from those recommendations.
