It's the 50th Annual ASCAP Awards and FOX17 Entertainment Reporter Stacy McCloud joins us from Opryland with more on this year's winners and honorees. ASCAP is a performing rights organization, so they work hard all year making sure songwriters and publishers get paid. Tonight, they are honoring some of their best members for some of their best work. You probably don't recognize many of the people performing tonight, but they are the ones responsible for penning some of your favorite songs. Many times artists are involved in writing or co-writing the music. From newer artists like Dierks Bentley to legends like Lyle Lovett, who received the Creative Voice Award, they too were honored tonight. Speaking of artists that do both, Songwriter/Artist of the Year went to ASCAP member Brad Paisley.

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
