The case against a Murfreesboro man accused of killing his wife is moving forward.
Jacob Pearman is charged with first degree murder. Investigators say he killed his wife Carla last month inside their Murfreesboro home.
During a preliminary hearing, prosecutors played a videotaped interview with Pearman. During the interview, Pearman admits to choking his wife to death.
A judge has found probable cause to send this case to the grand jury.
Prosecutors have not determined if they will seek the death penalty in this case.
"Review the facts and I will sit down with Mr. (Paul) Newman, and also probably with the family of the young lady, and discuss that, and make a final determination of which way we'll proceed," says DA Bill Whitesell.
Pearman remains in the Rutherford County Jail, where he is being held without bond.

Couple's bodies found in their Blount County home
May 20, 2013 20:14 GMT
LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Blount (blunt) County sheriff's office says preliminary results of autopsies on the bodies of a couple found dead in their home in Louisville (LEW'-ihs-vil) show their deaths are consistent with murder-suicide.
Marian O'Briant said in an email that it appears 54-year-old Steven Adkins shot 53-year-old Rebecca Adkins, then shot himself.
O'Briant said a family member found the bodies Sunday night. It wasn't clear how long they had been dead.
