WBFF Fox 45 :: Couple Arrested in Joelton Meth Arrest
Metro Police arrested two meth making suspects Wednesday night after their Joelton home was raided.
Michael and Danielle Gwynne were suspected of manufacturing methamphetamine from their residence on 5735 Eatons Creek Road before police went to their home. There, police did discover a meth lab, which they have since properly disposed of.
The two set off red flags after each made a recent purchase of pseudoephedrine within minutes of one another on the same day. Danielle, 36, purchased pseudoephedrine at the CVS at 4201 Clarksville Pike, while Michael, 38, purchased the meth ingredient at Walgreens at 3130 Clarksville Pike.
On June 15 and twice on Dec. 19 of 2011, Michael attempted to purchase more than the maximum allowable daily amount of pseudoephedrine, but was blocked. On Feb. 17, Danielle was also blocked for an attempted purchase.
The couple is being held on $22,000 bond each.Couple Arrested in Joelton Meth Arrest

Alexander: TVA to help fish hatchery stay open
May 18, 2013 16:33 GMT

ERWIN, Tenn. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander says the Tennessee Valley Authority will help keep a federal fish hatchery in East Tennessee stay open for at least three more years.

The Erwin National Fish Hatchery has faced closure in the past due to federal budget cuts.

The Johnson City Press (http://bit.ly/11MN6tv) cited a statement by Alexander that says the TVA has entered into an agreement with state and federal wildlife agencies that has the agency purchasing fish from both of Tennessee's national fish hatcheries for fish mitigation. That also includes the Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery.

Meanwhile, the statement says TVA officials will work with state and federal authorities to find a permanent solution.

The TWRA has said the two hatcheries are responsible for raising 60 percent of all trout in Tennessee.
