AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- Police chief says 12 dead in Colorado theater shooting, and up to 20 people have been injured in a shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., near Denver.
Police dispatchers say calls about the shooting started coming in about 12:30 a.m. Friday from a mall theater that was showing the Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises."
Police say one person has been arrested. The shooter is said to be in his early 20's.
Police spokeswoman Cassidee Carlson says "the scene is still very active and we have little information for release at this time."
Swedish Medical Center spokeswoman Nicole Williams says two of the injured have arrived at her hospital in critical condition, and they hospital has been told there could be several more.
President Barack Obama says he is "shocked and saddened" by "horrific and tragic" Colorado shooting.

Couple's bodies found in their Blount County home

LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Blount (blunt) County sheriff's office says preliminary results of autopsies on the bodies of a couple found dead in their home in Louisville (LEW'-ihs-vil) show their deaths are consistent with murder-suicide.
Marian O'Briant said in an email that it appears 54-year-old Steven Adkins shot 53-year-old Rebecca Adkins, then shot himself.
O'Briant said a family member found the bodies Sunday night. It wasn't clear how long they had been dead.
