"It definitely entered his mind whether to get out or not, but he made the conscious decision to drive off," says Carulla.
The vehicle is described as a silver or gray 4-door Ford Sedan with those 3 license plate numbers. Until that driver is found, Carulla says he's responsible for his hospital bills and the expense of his brother's bike. Mother Carie Turk says the whole thing is hard to understand.
"There's consequences for him for the actions of someone else," says Turk. "They need to take responsibility for what they did."
The driver isn't the only one the family feels skirted responsibilities. Carulla says no one bothered to stop to help, despite the fact the motorcycle was laying right in the middle of the street. A shocking end to an accident this motorcycle rider says he's pretty lucky to have survived. Carulla says doctors at Centennial Medical Center will decide tomorrow whether to operate on his back. Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
