Metro Police responded quickly to an afternoon robbery at US Bank in Hermitage, which resulted in the apprehension of the armed suspect in less than 10 minutes .
Randy Fielder, 47, is now in the custody of the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force. He is expected to be charged federally with bank robbery of the branch at 3865 Lebanon Pike.
The report of the robbery by a man armed with a knife came out just after 3:30 p.m. When Fielder saw police, he sprinted to his home at 220 Juarez Drive and went inside. Authorities went to the house and ordered Fielder to come outside. By the time that happened, Fielder had changed clothes.

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
