WBFF Fox 45 :: CLASH ON THE CUMBERLAND: Super Fan
70,000 fans will pack LP Field tonight mainly to cheer on the Titans, but there is one Titans fan whose devotion is second to none. The tailgate is in full effect at LP Field. If you ask some of those people, they'll say they're the team's #1 fan, but we met one woman that says she puts all of them to shame.

"My name is Roby Hunter, and I'm the #1 Titans fan," says Roby Hunter.

A claim like that warrants some evidence to back it up, and Hunter delivers, with a Titans collection any die-hard fan would envy.

"It started with a picture and a lamp that my son and my best friend bought me for Christmas the first year the stadium was built, and then it just kind of exploded from there!" says Hunter.

She thinks the collection is worth over $10,000! Impressed? The collection doesn't stop in the living room. You can see it all over her LaVergne home. Even when she's out on the open rood. She says what makes you a real fan is having Titans pride, whether they're winning or losing.

"We have a rebuilding year, we have a new quarterback," says Hunter. "We have new coaches. Give them a chance, don't give up on them. I'm not giving up on them."

Of course, it's a lot more fun to cheer a winning team, so all the fans plan to be as loud and as energetic as possible.CLASH ON THE CUMBERLAND: Super Fan

Solar panels that obscure school might be moved
May 24, 2013 13:13 GMT

ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A wall of solar panels in front of a Surgoinsville school might be moved out back.

The panels are part of an ambitious project under which solar collection panels have been installed at 20 Hawkins County school facilities to cut utility costs and sell back power to TVA.

But the Kingsport Times-News (http://bit.ly/18burcf ) reported the wall of panels at Surgoinsville Middle School has some people worried about school security and others upset at what they see as an eyesore.

The panels are 7 feet high and stretch the length of a football field. They obscure viewing the school.

At a school board work session Thursday, board members talked about moving the array. It can't be voted on until the regular board meeting on June 4.
