Six people and an unborn child are now dead in a string of murders in and around Fayetteville. As well as the person authorities wanted to question. Early Tuesday Warren Crutcher a man listed as a person of interest in four of the murders was found dead and officers say it was not a suicide. We know that Crutcher and one of the female victims had a child together. But tonight investigators are not commenting on a possible motive in this string of unsolved murders.
It all began at Fayetteville home in Lincoln County.
"We had a female who was six or 7 months pregnant along with her 18 month old son and another female in that residence on Huntsville highway," said Kristin Helm of the TBI.
Sheriff's deputies identified the bodies of Amber McCaully was pregnant and Chabreya Campbell, along with her 18 month old son Rico Raglan, who is pictured on the right. Campbell's three year old son Vincent Crutcher was not hurt.
“That child is the one who actually called a friend of his mother on the telephone to let him know that was a terrible situation happening at the house and he was unharmed,” added Helm.
A fourth woman Jessica Brown was found murdered on Fox Wood Drive in Lincoln County. Investigators called the three year olds father Warren Crutcher as a person of interest. But early Tuesday he too was found murdered in the Hazel Green area.
“We really don't know anything about motive at this time we are still trying to of course develop a suspect,” stated Helm.
Officials in Madison County, Alabama say the murder of a sixth person in Huntsville. Jeffery Lamar Pope may also be connected to the killing spree. It is a case that has authorities in two states working to find answers.

Prince Edward presents Edinburgh's awards in Tenn.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Queen Elizabeth's youngest son, Prince Edward, is visiting Tennessee to promote one of the British royal family's charities, the Duke of Edinburgh's awards.
The prince presided over an awards ceremony at the governor's mansion in Nashville on Thursday for the first batch of young Tennesseans to participate in the leadership and character program.
About 80 youths received the award by participating in community service, skills development, physical fitness and adventurous journeys through the Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, LEAD Academy, Montgomery Bell Academy or the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Organization.
Following the event, Gov. Bill Haslam and first lady Crissy Haslam invited the awardees and their families to tea inside the governor's residence. Later on Thursday, the prince was scheduled to headline a black-tie gala at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville.
