WBFF Fox 45 :: Lights On for Shadrack's Holiday Light Show
Jellystone Park Campground is host to Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland, a  holiday light show set to holiday songs, and the display opens today in Nashville on Music Valley Drive.
Featuring hundreds of thousands of energy-efficient LED lights synchronized and dancing to classic tunes, this is one of the biggest light shows in the country.
When the drive is done, visitors can go to Santa’s Village and warm up with cider or cocoa, get your picture taken with Santa Claus.
The fully-computerized, custom-designed drive-thru holiday light tour is open 6-10 p.m. through January 2. Admission is $25 per carload, or you can reserve a Sugar Creek Carriage ride and enjoy the show in the open air.Lights On for Shadrack's Holiday Light Show

Haslam's chief deputy Claude Ramsey to retire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Gov. Bill Haslam says chief deputy Claude Ramsey is retiring at the end of August to spend more time with his family in Chattanooga.

The Republican governor said in a news release on Wednesday that the 70-year-old Ramsey has been integral to his administration on key initiatives that include civil service reform, economic development efforts, workforce development training and improved operation of state government.

Ramsey was elected to the General Assembly in 1972 where he served four years in the House. He was Hamilton County's mayor for 16 years.

His last day on the job is August 31.
