WBFF Fox 45 :: Local Store Ready For Cyber Monday
In a little shop on 12th Avenue South employees are creating one of Music City's newest exports.

That's where Imogene and Willie are producing premium jeans and jean jackets.

The shop has attracted national attention recently with articles in GQ and Southern Living.

Shop manager Jay Wilkison says it's bringing customers to the store's website this Cyber Monday.

Some customers logged on from as far away as London and Sweden.

"They can see every single fit of jean we have on different types of people," said Wilkison "We do try to provide as much info as possible for online shoppers and people out of town and may have read about us."

Like many businesses the store is offering a special deal on Cyber Monday, free shipping.

It's one of many websites Chris Song surfed through.

He's looking for a gift for his girlfriend and found plenty of deals including some that are 30% off.

Song says he's in no hurry to buy though.

"Yeah you're saving a little money and it might be worth it but at the same time I don't wanna feel rushed into buying something just because I've got a 10-percent off deal," said Song.

The research firm comScore estimates that Americans will spend $1.5 billion on Cyber Monday.Local Store Ready For Cyber Monday

Alexander: TVA to help fish hatchery stay open
May 18, 2013 16:33 GMT

ERWIN, Tenn. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander says the Tennessee Valley Authority will help keep a federal fish hatchery in East Tennessee stay open for at least three more years.

The Erwin National Fish Hatchery has faced closure in the past due to federal budget cuts.

The Johnson City Press (http://bit.ly/11MN6tv) cited a statement by Alexander that says the TVA has entered into an agreement with state and federal wildlife agencies that has the agency purchasing fish from both of Tennessee's national fish hatcheries for fish mitigation. That also includes the Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery.

Meanwhile, the statement says TVA officials will work with state and federal authorities to find a permanent solution.

The TWRA has said the two hatcheries are responsible for raising 60 percent of all trout in Tennessee.
