A Montgomery County fire sent flames through the roof of a 2-story house near Tiny Town Road in Clarksville. No one was inside at the time, but the couple who lives there did lose 2 dogs and 2 cats.
"The wife was very distraught," says Fire Marshal Ray Williams. "She told me that's like my kids and all and it's not a very good feeling for her and all."
The couple does have one dog who survived because he was at the vet during the fire. Investigators still aren't sure what caused it, but they do believe the fire started downstairs, possibly in the kitchen area.

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
