WBFF Fox 45 :: Dierks Bentley Reunited With Dog
Dierks Bentely and crew may have a tour to focus on, but this week all eyes are on an honorary member of the band, Dierks dog "Jake".

"He's been by my side every second since" says Dierks.

Thunderstorms scared the 12 year old rescue dog and he jumped his fence on Sunday.
He was missing in the rain and cold for over 15 hours.

"When I was looking for him went five miles both directions all over Nashville" explains Dierks.

Dierks took to social media and the response was overwhelming.
Everyone from strangers, to his record label president were searching hi and lo for his four legged best friend.

"Jake has been there last 12 years! With me moving to town, trying to get a record deal, relationships that did or didn't work out. He's been there through a lot of crazy stuff" says Dierks.

On Monday morning Dierks got the news that Jake was found.

"My wife walked in and said someone found Jake and they are bringing him. I may have shed a tear or two, I was pretty overwhelmed" says Dierks.

Dierks says Jake will no doubt join him on the road for his "Locked and Reloaded" tour with country superstar Miranda Lambert.

"This is a chance to relive the glory days so to speak. She has a catalog of music that is some of the best country stuff out there" he says.

During rehearsals we got a look at what fans can expect.
The biggest change from their last tour will be lots of video elements. "My dad passed away only 6-7 months ago. He was a WW2 vet and so we are using images of him, just making show as personal as possible" he says.

Dierks describes the tour as a scrapbook. A journey he, Miranda and Jake can't wait to head out on!

May 25, 2013 20:14 GMT

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.

WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.

TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.

Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
