WBFF Fox 45 :: Behind The Voice Of Your Favorite Animated Shows on FOX
All new episodes of your favorite grown up cartoons are coming to Fox this Sunday. We get to see the animated characters every week, but what about the actors and actresses that give them a voice?

"It's a blast, it's a dream come true", exclaims Kristen Schaal, voice of Louise on Bob's Burgers.

The actors and actresses say that animated shows are pretty much the perfect gig!

"No camera, headphones, can cut loose", says John Roberts, who plays Linda on Bob's Burgers.

"It's so easy for our side as actors. It is labor intensive for writers and animators, but for actors its 7 hours a week. I know don't hit me", laughs Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa Simpson.

Here' s a fun fact. Many times they often audition for several roles.  In fact, many of the popular voices we've loved for years were originally cast as other characters!

"They read me for Bart first because women's voices don't' change" says Smith.

"I was cast as Lester first, the e redneck that lives across the street. Then they brought me in as Cleveland Junior. I saw the similarity didn't they", laughs Kevin Michael Richardson, the voice of Cleveland Junior.

The actors say their favorite part of working on an animated series is that they get to be forever young!

" I may look like a little boy but I'm really 62. Black don't crack", jokes Richardson.

They also believe it's part of the reason shows like The Simpsons are so popular!

"I believe part of the magic is the family is frozen in time in Springfield. It allows us to come to these current events but we remain a constant" says Smith.

The Simpsons are currently taping their 25th season. Longevity that gives other animated shows on Fox some home that their show will have a televised lifespan that is just as long

"The Simpsons are the fabric of our lives, like cotton, the cotton of animated. We are more of polyester" laughs Schaal.

Animation Domination starts at 6:30ct every Sunday on Fox. Behind The Voice Of Your Favorite Animated Shows on FOX

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Queen Elizabeth's youngest son, Prince Edward, is visiting Tennessee to promote one of the British royal family's charities, the Duke of Edinburgh's awards.

The prince presided over an awards ceremony at the governor's mansion in Nashville on Thursday for the first batch of young Tennesseans to participate in the leadership and character program.

About 80 youths received the award by participating in community service, skills development, physical fitness and adventurous journeys through the Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, LEAD Academy, Montgomery Bell Academy or the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Organization.

Following the event, Gov. Bill Haslam and first lady Crissy Haslam invited the awardees and their families to tea inside the governor's residence. Later on Thursday, the prince was scheduled to headline a black-tie gala at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville.
