COLUMBIA, Tenn. - A follow up on a story we brought you Thursday night as developing news. We now know the names of those investigators say were behind Thursday night's explosion at a Columbia motel. Officials say Adam Arabis, Raymond Stringfellow and Darell Pack are charged with Manufacturing Meth and Reckless Endangerment. Police believe the 3 were making meth inside a room at the Polk Motel in Columbia. A fire caused by an explosion damaged 3 rooms. Police in Clarksville tell FOX17 NEWS a certain type of meth lab is becoming more popular. Drug Task Force Director Jesse Reynolds says people are disposing of these one pot meth labs in public places and on private property. If you see one, call police immediately. Exposure to these labs could cause serious injury.

Houston brother will be his own attorney in court

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Roane County man will face federal gun violation charges next month without an attorney.
The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/17VlXpM ) reported Rocky Joe Houston will represent himself on a charge of possession of a gun by a felon.
The charge came after Houston earlier represented himself in state court on charges stemming from a police chase. He was convicted of evading arrest and reckless endangerment.
Houston and his brother, Leon Houston, were tried, but not convicted, in the 2006 shooting deaths of a Roane County deputy and his ride-along companion.
In federal court, Rocky Joe Houston is claiming the officer who charged him with the felony had no legal authority.
