HURRICANE MILLS, Tenn. - Waverly Fire Department worked a fire Thursday night at Loretta Lynn's Hurricane Mills ranch. This is a photo taken of the fire. You can see there were several emergency crews on the scene. FOX17 was told that a large concession area was taken in the blaze. The building is located in the middle of the Hurricane Mills property. It sits next to the concert pavilion and near the swimming pool. Officials are still investigating, but say there are at least 2 possible causes for the fire at this time. The ranch is set to open up again for visitors on March 1. Thursday is the day they turned the power on to get ready for the big opening. Also, there was a lot of lighting in this area at the time the fire started. They still, however, have not named an official cause.

Union County DUI stop turns up 300 pounds of pot

MAYNARDVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Union County Sheriff's Office deputies say the truck appeared to be driven by someone under the influence and they stopped it.
Inside, officers found more than 300 pounds of marijuana.
The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/11QgEX9 ) reported authorities arrested 26-year-old Martin Urrutia Olmedo of Knoxville on Saturday morning. Olmedo was held without bond, pending a Thursday scheduled court appearance.
Sheriff's Sgt. Mike Butcher said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is also looking into the arrest in which Olmedo was charged with drug, DUI and driving violations.
