A physical altercation led to a stabbing and a shooting in Bordeaux.
According
to Metro police, about 20 people showed up at the Buena Vista Apartments
when two girls started fighting after 8 p.m. on Monday. One female
stabbed another causing minor injuries.
Then someone in the crowd fired
multiple shots. One bullet entered an apartment with a family inside. Luckily, no
one was struck. Two shots hit an bystander twice in the back. He is in
serious, but non-critical condition.
Neither the stabbing or shooting
suspect are in custody. Police believe the person who fired the gun to
be in a white Monte Carlo.
Anyone with information should call police at 862-8600 or 74-CRIME.

Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
