WBFF Fox 45 :: Peter Pan Flies into TPAC
NASHVILLE, TN -  An all new version of a classic fairytale returns to TPAC, starring Cathy Rigby  as the boy who doesn't want to grow up!

"There is just something to finding that inner child, playing, being adventuresome, take risks. It has changed my life in many ways" says the Tony Award Nominee.

Rigby's name has become synonymous with the show. She's been playing Peter Pan in one variation or another since 1974! "Over the years after 3000 times of doing it, what is exciting is that 8 shows a week I get to go back and be again" she says.

Rigby is no stranger to the flips and twists you see her perform high over the crowd. For years she was an Olympic gymnast! "They will say doesnt that make you dizzy and I'm like I'm so safe up here compared to a beam you are trying to land on" she laughs.

Rigby spent years training her voice for the roll. Which she says came much easier than the acting, "The hardest part was acting because I was used to being emotionally controlled in gymnasts"

What you see on stage is not what you may have seen on your television.
The Broadway show is a musical adaptation of the book. Magical moments - all ages will enjoy!

"For many it's first time in theater. I'm grateful to be the vessel for this great story that has gone on for over 100 years" says Rigby.

Experience the flying and fairy dust with your family - now through Sunday at TPAC.

Tenn. Powerball ticket worth $1 million
May 19, 2013 18:44 GMT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Powerball ticket sold in Tennessee barely missed winning a share of an estimated $590.5 million prize. But the ticket has a nice consolation prize worth $1 million.

Officials say the Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Chattanooga.

There's no word yet on who won.

A Powerball ticket sold at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, Fla., matched all six numbers selected Saturday night for the estimated $590.5 million prize. It's the highest Powerball jackpot in history.

The winning numbers were 10, 13, 14, 22 and 52, with a Powerball of 11.
