A firefighter was injured knocking down a suspicious house fire in Inglewood that is now ruled arson.
The Nashville Fire Department was called to 5025 Inglewood Court at around 3:30 a.m. The fire, which was in the attic, was quickly put out.
The bomb squad was called to the location and it was determined that someone threw two Molotov cocktails into the home, according to Metro Police.
A firefighter has been treated and released cutting his foot on glass.
Three people were home at the time of the incident. No one else was injured.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information can call CrimeStoppers at 74-CRIME.

Man charged with faking marriage to visit inmate

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) -- Washington County authorities say a man faked a marriage certificate so he could visit a woman held in the Johnson City Detention Facility.
The Johnson City Press (http://bit.ly/14QBr9L ) reports investigators discovered the ruse after the May 14 visit by 32-year-old Robert S. Hicks of Elizabethton. Hicks was arrested Tuesday on a charge of criminal simulation. He was jailed at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond, pending a court appearance Wednesday.
