GALLATIN, Tenn. - Breaking news from a high profile Sumner County double murder trial: the jury is now deliberating the fate of a Hendersonville mom accused of killing her newborn twin boys. Lindsey Lowe is on trial for allegedly smothering her babies after giving birth on the toilet in September 2011. Prosecutors say Lowe killed the babies to keep her pregnancy hidden because the father isn't her fiance. Lowe's defense claims she did not accept that she was pregnant. Lowe declined to testify in her own defense. Lowe is charged with four first-degree murder charges (two counts of pre-meditation and two in the commission of child abuse) along with two counts child abuse. Yesterday her attorney asked for a mistrial saying he believes Judge Dee David Gay has shown favoritism by rushing the defense during testimony. Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty. Body found in Percy Priest Lake

SMYRNA, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities say a body has been found in Percy Priest Lake in Middle Tennessee.
WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/16gYKys) reports officials with Metro Police, the Office of Emergency Management and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency were at the scene Saturday at Hole In The Wall Island. The body was reported to authorities about 11 a.m.
TWRA officials say they believe the deceased man is a boater who disappeared in the lake two weeks ago.
Police said the agencies coordinated with each other to get a boat in the water and recover the body.
