For years, the one room schoolhouse was the heart of small towns across Tennessee.

Most of them have disappeared..

But in the Maury county town of Santa Fe you'll find one that's been restored and tranformed into a museum.

Thanks to Charles Pigg's dedication and determination.. you can go back in time -- for free.

If you would like to visit the piggs school house, there are no set hours of operation.

Just give them a call to set up a time to stop by.

TONIGHT: Clouds will be increasing with our next cold front. Expect to see a few showers and even a thunderstorm in our western counties of middle Tennessee later tonight. Low temperatures will be in the low 60s.

THURSDAY: A front moves through during the day with showers a good possibility and maybe even a thunderstorm. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Showers will be moving out during the evening with clouds lingering through most of the night. Cooler temperatures will be moving in with lows in the low 50s.
