American Idol
Music icon Donna Summer is dead at age 63. With hit songs like "Hot Stuff" and "Bad Girls", to many she was the Queen of Disco. Shows like AMERICAN IDOL introduced Summer to a new generation of fans. In recent years, the singer spent much of her time in Nashville. Local musicians who toured with Summer are remembering her.
"Worked with her for 8 years and with any travel and road work highs and lows, but the one thing you could always count on every single night was that voice," says former music director Scott Hallgren. "That voice made all of us want to be our best."
