WBFF Fox 45 :: Entertainment Headlines: Bluegrass Nominees Announced, Underwood and Paisley Team Up and John Rich Mentors New CW Talent Show
Lots of headlines in tonight's Entertainment News. Including nominees for the International Bluegrass Music Awards!!

A
news conference was held this evening at Loveless Barn. Russel Moore
and 111rd Tyme Out lead with nominations in nine categories. They are
followed by Alison Krauss and Union Station with eight and Blue Highway
and The Boxcars with seven. During the September awards show, two
bluegrass legends will be inducted into the hall of fame. Doyle Lawson
and Ralph Rinzler are this years honorees.

"When you have your
peers show appreciate it's almost indescribable. I know this, I'll be in
there with a lot of my heroes and i am so honored to be a part of it"
says Lawson.

The awards show is part of World Bluegrass Week and will be held September 27th at The Ryman

Rumors
have been flying and now they have been confirmed. Carrie Underwood and
Brad Paisley are pairing up again to host the CMA Awards.
This will be the 5th time the two have hosted together.
The 46th annual awards show will be held Thursday November 1st at Bridgestone Arena.

John Rich is the latest country star to be part of a singing competition.
The
CW will premier their new music competition series "The Next" on
Thursday August 16th. Rich is one of four mentors that will travel
across the country to search and then help artists they believe are on
the verge of stardom!
