Season 7 AMERICAN IDOL finalist Jason Castro is continuing to have success in his music career as a contemporary christian artist. Castro stopped by TENNESSEE MORNINGS this morning to play his most recent single, "Only a Mountain", the title track off his upcoming 3rd studio album which will be released in January. Castro tells FOX17 that his life has changed a lot since he wrote for his last album. New life experiences that he says changed the way he wrote for this new album.

"A lot has happened in the past few years, and I feel like this album is a snapshot of it all," says Castro. "From getting married, to my first child, a lot has gone on. I'm pumped about it."

Jason Castro finished 4th runner up on season 7 of AMERICAN IDOL. He is currently on the road with For King and Country.
