FOX 17 - Sizzling Summer Music
They aren't lacking for things to do.
Fan club parties, autograph signings and concerts are on multiple stages.
Fans stay up late for concerts at LP Field, and get up early for up close and personal time with their favorite stars.
Fans heard a big announcement from The Judds Thursday morning.
The Judds announced their new 18 city tour starting at the end of June.
Across town at Nashville Palace, Miranda Lambert fans flocked to see the newly named CMT Female Video of the Year award winner.
Miranda says, "It was my first belt buckle to win, so that was cool and first time to perform on CMT awards. Feel good today, But I don't really have time to think about it cause my day is packed again and tomorrow."
Miranda played whatever songs her fans requested, after all, it wasn't long ago she was in their shoes!
Miranda says, "I came to fanfare as a fan for 4 years in a row and the last time I went when it was at the fairgrounds and when it was fanfare and now it's CMA Fest at stadium, changed a lot."
American Idol's Danny Gokey was also swarmed with fans hoping to get a picture and autograph.
Danny says he's still trying to absorb it all.
Danny says, "When I came in November, I had nothing out yet and being vulnerable, insecure, sore thumb, but not anymore. Now you are standing out. I have music product that is available!"
The LP Field concert featured Danny Gokey, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood.
Miranda Lambert will perform Friday night with Keith Urban, Josh Turner, Reba McEntire and Julianne Hough.
The concerts continue on Saturday and Sunday as well.
