Southern Delight®
Barbecued Beer, Bacon & Swiss Burgers

 

1 1/4 lb. Ground Beef
1/2 lb. Kentucky’s Finest Sausage (mild)
1/4 C. Plain Bread Crumbs
2 Tbsp. Southern Delight Classic No-Salt-Added Italian Seasoning Blend
1 C. Shredded Swiss Cheese
1/3 C. Southern Delight Sweet Bacon & Spice No-Salt-Added Barbecue Sauce
2/3 C. BBC Nut Brown Ale
 

In large bowl mix Ground Beef, Kentucky’s Finest Sausage, Classic Seasoning,
Bread Crumbs and Swiss Cheese.  Stir together Sweet Bacon & Spice
No-Salt-Added Barbecue Sauce and BBC Nut Brown Ale, and pour over
ingredients in bowl.  Mix well to thoroughly combine all ingredients, and
form into six patties.  Cook in a grill pan, skillet, George Foreman grill,
griddle or on the grill.  If cooking on outdoor grill, freeze burgers first
(due to the high moisture content, these burgers will have a tendency to
fall apart unless frozen).  Serve on large toasted buns with lettuce,
tomato, onion, pickle and mayonnaise or mustard. 

Cook to internal temperature of 160 °.  Makes 6 good sized burgers.  Enjoy!
