Fiesta Grill Jerk Burger
1# Lean Ground Beef 85/15
3/4 tsp ground cloves
3/4 tsp oregano leaves
3/4 tsp ground thyme
Kosher salt (to taste)
Fresh cracked pepper (to taste)
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Divide into four (4) equal portions, and pat flat. Grill over medium-high heat 4-5 minutes on each side or till the internal temperature reaches 160*.
Note: I like to make my burgers up ahead of time and refrigerate them, anywhere from one hour to overnight. Refrigerated burgers are firm and will in most cases grill quicker and better.
