Pioneer Brand Grill "Wrap-Ups"

 

Barbecue-Bacon Spread

 

1 1/2 cups water (divided)

1 package(2.75 oz.) country gravy mix (Pioneer Brand Recommended)

1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce

1 package (3 oz.) cooked and crumbled real bacon pieces (about 3/4 cup)

1/4 cup sliced green onion

 

1 Package (8 oz.) 6-inch flour tortillas (10)

1 to 1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, grilled, or roasted*

 

To make Barbecue-Bacon spread: In medium saucepan, heat 1 cup water to a full rolling boil. Meanwhile, disolve gravy mix in remaining 1/2 cup cool water; pour gravy mixture into boiling water. Stir vigorously with a whisk until thickened. Refrigerate until completely chilled. Stir in barbecue sauce, bacon, and onion.

To make Wrap-Ups: Spoon about 1/4 cup of the spread over a flour tortilla. Top with some chicken and lettuce. Roll up from one side to the other. Fasten with a wooden pick. Repeat with remaining tortillas, spread, chicken, and lettuce. Serve with raw vegetables. Makes 10 wrap-ups.

 

*Substitute pre-cooked/grilled chicken breast if you like.
