Matzoh Bre

4-6 Pieces of matzoh

2-3 cups milk

1 Onion, Minced

4 eggs Lightly Beaten

4 Tablespoons Butter

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Break Matzoh into small pieces and place in a bowl

Pour milk over the matzo and allow to soak for 10 minutes

Pour the milk off the matzo and pour the eggs over the matzo and toss to distribute

In a large, non-stick saute pan over medium high heat saute the onion

in the butter for a couple minutes and pour the matzo pieces and egg into the pan

Saute until golden brown and toasted, about 15 minutes

Adjust heat as needed to prevent burning

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Serves 4-6
