Sage Sausage and Apple Crepes

 

 

6 store bought crepes
2 cups Granny Smith apples; peeled, sliced ¼ inch
1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ lb Jimmy Dean Sage bulk sausage; browned, drained and roughly chopped
1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter
½ teaspoon cinnamon

 

1. Melt butter in a 10-inch skillet
2. Once melted, stir in brown sugar
3. Add apples to skillet and sauté until slightly softened, approximately
    5 minutes
4. Mix in cinnamon, salt and cream
5. Sprinkle lemon over sausage
6. Add sausage to apple mixture, stir
7. Divide filling into crepes
8. Serve warm
