General Benjamin O. Davis, Jr., (U.S. Air Force, Retired), the son of General Benjamin O. Davis, Sr., a pioneering military officer, is the fourth African American graduate of hte U.S. Military Academy, the nation's second African American general officer, the fist African American to become a General in the Air Force and the leader of the fabled Tuskegee Airmen during World War II.
