Titans All Access - WZTV FOX 17 - Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Dallas Cowboys
Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo, QB: Romo's back has been cause for concern, but he has looked good during preseason action. Expecting he will be at full health for the season, Romo is one of the more undervalued quarterbacks in fantasy. In four of the last five years, Romo has finished among the top ten at the position. He hasn't thrown fewer than 28 touchdowns each of the last three seasons and had his second-highest quarterback rating last year since 2009. He's not going to win your league for you, but he is a consistent option who will keep you in games. With an ADP of 94.5, you can snag him later while addressing other needs and building your WR/RB corps.

Dez Bryant, WR: Bryant has turned the corner mentally and has met expectations the last two seasons. He hasn't dipped below 1,200 yards or 12 scores and is among the elite options at the position. This is a no-brainer selection.

Terrance Williams, WR: The Baylor product burst onto the scene as a rookie last year, notching 736 yards and five touchdowns. His 16.7 yards per catch average was highest on the team 7th in the league. The question here is if he will see enough targets in year two? He's currently being drafted in the eighth round as a borderline #3 wideout. That's a little high for the wideout, who totaled ten games of fewer than 50 yards. With guys like Kendall Wright, Riley Cooper and Dwayne Bowe going after Williams, a safer bet would be to select one of them and try to snag Williams the next round as a #4 with good upside.

Jason Witten, TE: Witten totaled his second-most touchdowns (8) since 2010 last season. He rounds out the top five or six tight ends before seeing a drop-off to the next tier of guys. You should be able to get him in the seventh round without issue. Considering Jordan Cameron is going a full round ahead of Witten but scored the same amount of fantasy points last year, Witten is by far the better value.

DeMarco Murray, RB: Finally! Murray was able to use his skills and show what he's capable of last year. The back totaled 1,471 yards and ten scores, making him fantasy's 7th rated back. There's no reason to think he won't be successful again this year, but the concern is health. Murray has yet to play a full season since becoming a professional three years ago. While he's worth the risk, handcuff him with Lance Dunbar in case he falls to injury yet again.
