Titans All Access - WZTV FOX 17 - Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Houston Texans
Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Houston Texans
Arian Foster, RB: How the mighty have fallen. Foster supposedly considered retirement after his injury and we have yet to really see him in action in practice or on the playing field. As if that were not enough, during his first six games last year when he was healthy, Foster managed just two total touchdowns. He hasn't totaled less than five scores in the first six games since his rookie year. Matt Schaub didn't help matters, but three out of those first six games were Schaub's best of the year. Now Arian has Ryan Fitzpatrick to try and keep defenses honest, so is there really any reason for optimism? Foster's work load will still give him good value as a number two back, but ask Chris Johnson how playing behind Fitzpatrick worked out for him.

Andre Johnson, WR: The person most-affected by Schuab's poor play and the prospect of Fitzpatrick having an average season is Andre Johnson. He's also been dealing with a hamstring issue and had a minor hold-out spat before camp. Johnson hasn't totaled more than five scores the last three seasons, so his value has been dependent upon racking up the yardage. The good news is all Fitz has to do is throw it Johnson's direction and he'll make something of it. Johnson's currently going in the early 5th round, a good value for the veteran.

Garrett Graham, TE: Graham could be a sleeper at the position worth keeping an eye on. He will likely be left to the waiver wire, but consider this...in just 13 games, Graham totaled 545 yards and five touchdowns. Jared Cook, who finished 11th among all tight ends, had just 126 more yards and the same number of scores despite playing three more games. If Graham has a good matchup during your bye-week, consider snatching him up.
