Titans All Access - WZTV FOX 17 - Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Pittsburgh Steelers
Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Pittsburgh Steelers
Ben Roethlisberger, QB: Big Ben quietly had a solid season which was overshadowed by the Steelers' struggles. He finished 12th at the position and posted a career-high in attempts and completions. He also notched the second-most total yards passing and touchdowns of his career. With Le'Veon Bell to take some of the pressure of Roethlisberger, it was a taste of a potential return to the days of Willie Parker and Jerome Bettis. Ben also gets a shiny new toy in Martavis Bryant, the biggest target he's had in years. Ben is still a high-end backup to your starter, but he's definitely one of the better ones you will find.

Le'Veon Bell, RB: Bell was a solid addition to the team last year with 1,259 total yards and eight touchdowns. He's the obvious lead-back and is a great selection in the second round of drafts. That said, the arrival of Legarrette Blount has to be at least a bit concerning when it comes to goal line situations and if Bell can once again total eight scores.

Antonio Brown, WR: With Mike Wallace out of the picture, Brown had a career-year, finishing 7th among all fantasy wideouts. His 1,499 yards receiving were second only to Josh Gordon and his 8 scores were satisfactory. He is clearly the lead-dog this season and there's no reason to doubt he won't come close to last year's totals. He's currently being snatched-up in the early third round of drafts and is as close to a sure thing as you can get for a second-tier wideout.

Heath Miller, TE: Miller hasn't been quite the same since shredding his knee two years ago. The veteran hauled in just one lousy touchdown last season and his 593 yards were his second-fewest since 2010. The writing is on the wall for Miller and while a better year should be expected, he's still not worthy of being in your starting lineup.

Lance Moore, WR: Moore is an extremely interesting play here. He is only one year removed from a 1,041 yard, six score season which saw him finish 11th among all fantasy wideouts. His best season in 2008 saw him snatch 10 scores and 928 yards. What's the one thing his two best overall seasons have in common? They are the only two times he has ever had over 100 targets. Of course, Roethlisberger is not Drew Brees, but consider this: Even with Mike Wallace around, Antonio Bryant had 100 targets in 2011 and 2012. Moore can be effective in open space on those short slants, something Ben does well. Moore doesn't warrant being anywhere near your starting lineup, but he is worth a late round gamble with some great payout.

Markus Wheaton, Martavis Bryant, WR: Exactly where these two fall come Week 1 has yet to be decided. It's better to take a wait and see approach and make a real evaluation. You can nab Wheaton in the 14th round of most drafts, but your money would be better spent selecting a guy like Cecil Shorts and Justin Hunter.
