Titans All Access - WZTV FOX 17 - Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Seattle Seahawks
Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Seattle Seahawks
Russell Wilson, QB: The Super Bowl winning quarterback will try to repeat his success from last season, but the odds are against him. Since 2010, Aaron Rodgers is the only Super Bowl winning quarterback not to see a decline in production the next season. Drew Brees, Eli Manning and Joe Flacco all fell short of expectations the next season and Wilson isn't likely to finish 8th at the position this season. There are far better fantasy producing quarterbacks who will surpass him this season. Tony Romo, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, RGIII and even Ben Roethlisberger are all poised to make up for sub-par showings last year. He was a #2 fantasy quarterback last year and he should be drafted as a #2 quarterback again this season.

Percy Harvin, WR: There are few other wideouts who can be as dynamic or explosive as Harvin, but there are far more better options given his ability to help your team. Harvin has played just ten games the last two seasons and though he seems to be at full health again, the risk is too great to select him as anything more than a #3 WR with upside.

Marshawn Lynch, RB: Every year we wonder if Lynch will show decline and every year he proves us wrong. Beast Mode had 8 or more touches inside the 20 in nine of 16 games played last season. Inside the ten, he had 54 touches. His workload alone guarantees he'll be an elite back yet again.

Doug Baldwin, WR: He's now cemented as the No. 2 wideout opposite Percy Harvin, but his value will be predicated on Harvin's health. Seattle is either going to pound the ball inside the ten or look for Zach Miller and creative ways to get Harvin involved. He'll see an uptick in yardage and could really do well if Harvin gets injured again. That's a lot of if's to take Baldwin as anything but a late round pick.

Zach Miller, TE: The yardage just won't be there for Miller but the potential to improve on his five touchdowns will be. Lynch will be option number one inside the ten and while Harvin will see his share, Miller is really the safest bet to see an increase in targets. It won't be enough to warrant selecting him as your starter, but if you find yourself late in the draft and yet to select a second tight end, Miller makes for a nice sleeper pick at the position.
