Titans All Access - WZTV FOX 17 - Fantasy Football Draft 2014: St. Louis Rams
Fantasy Football Draft 2014: St. Louis Rams
Sam Bradford, QB: Bradford missed nine games last year due to injury and there's a lot of hope he can bring this team to the playoffs. There's not so much hope he can do anything for you in fantasy land. His career high 21 touchdowns in 2012 is nothing to write home about and there is no reason to think this will be the year he puts it all together. He shouldn't even be on your radar.

Zac Stacy, RB: The Vanderbilt product is a wrecking ball of a back, but his rookie campaign may well have been the ceiling of his fantasy value. He totaled 1,114 yards and eight touchdowns last year but ask yourself how much has this offense really improved? Signing Kenny Britt isn't going to inspire many more trips to the red zone and Stacy will be forced to move the chains. He finished 18th at the position last year but fantasy owners have been snatching him up 14th at the position this year in the 3rd/4th round of drafts. That's a little too high for Stacy when you could instead nab guys with more upside. C.J. Spiller, Reggie Bush and Andre Ellington are all going a round after Stacy. He's not as great a value as a #2 back. Snag him as your third if possible and let others overpay.

Jared Cook, TE: The former Titan followed coach Fisher to the Rams and picked up where he left off. Cook totaled his second-highest mark in yards, yards per pass and notched five touchdowns -a career high. That said, a bulk of the damage was all done in Week 1 and Cook was unable to stay consistent. Although Sam Bradford isn't going to light it up offensively, he will rely on Cook often. If you're hurting for a tight end late in the draft he's worth it, but otherwise snatch him up off the wire during the bye week if he shows improvement.

Tavon Austin, WR: The speedy wideout has the talent, but can Sam Bradford get him the ball? Austin has been getting picked up in the 11th round of drafts as a reserve, but there are better prospects available there. Look for guys like Cecil Shorts, Justin hunter and Steve Smith, all of whom will at least match Austin's production.
