Titans All Access - WZTV FOX 17 - Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Fantasy Football Draft 2014: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Josh McCown, QB: He lit it up last year in Chicago, but this ain't Chicago. Wideout Vincent Jackson is a legitimate threat, but Mike Evans is not Alshon Jeffery despite having the talent to make an impact down the road. Bottom line, McCown doesn't have the weapons to light up the fantasy scoreboard and can be trusted only as a borderline #2 QB.

Doug Martin, RB: Martin has fallen down draft boards part because people have forgotten about him and part because he's coming off injury with a new head coach. Their forgetfulness is your gain. The Boise State product is just a season removed from a 1,454 yard rushing, 472 yard receiving, 12 touchdown rookie season. He's back to full health and guess what? Lovie Smith likes to use versatile backs like Martin. Just ask Matt Forte, who never rushed for less than 929 yards or totaled less than 340 yards receiving under Smith. Martin will be used early and often. You'll be able to get him in the third round as a high-end RB #2 who could produce #1 numbers. He's one of the best values in the draft for the money.

Vincent Jackson, WR: Rookie Mike Evans has not looked spectacular during the preseason and teams will be focused on taking Jackson out of the game. The good news is this is nothing new. Jackson has been dealing with it his whole career and still manages to consistently post 1,000-plus yard seasons. What he lacks is the breakout speed he once possessed. He could have surpassed his seven scores from a year ago but there were several times defenders were able to haul him down from behind. Although Evans hasn't looked phenomenal, he is a big body McCown will target in the red-zone. Expect the norm for Jackson, somewhere between 150-170 point range.

Mike Evans, WR: If you're in a deeper league or keeper league, Evans is worth taking a risk on in the later rounds. Otherwise, he's waiver wire fodder until he proves otherwise.
