Selling Baby Formula Online

Happening now, baby formula is a hot ticket item on social media sites like Craigslist. It's not illegal to buy or sell baby food online, unless that food is obtained through women, infants and children or WIC.

It's a federal program funded with your tax dollars that offeres free baby formula and food to low-income families.

The U.S. Department of  Health says some money wound up in the pockets of people using wic illegally selling their baby's food.

People caught selling baby food worth less than $99 must pay back the money or lose their benefits for one year.

If you're caught selling baby food worth more than $100 or if it's your second offense, you're kicked out of the program for one year.
