Popular LuLu App Facing Criticism

Stream Fox 17 newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5 am and News at 9 pm.

A controversial app that allows women to anonymously rate the men they've dated has some guys asking if they can sue because of a bad review.

The female-only app called "Lulu" lets women log on through facebook and rate the men they know.

Ladies dish on everything from looks to personality and even sexual performance. It is all completely anonymous.

The app was designed so women have a safe place to get the real scoop on a guy they are dating, or thinking of dating.

With access to any man on Facebook without his knowledge, attorneys say Lulu brings up major privacy and defamation concerns. "It's non-consentual, a man doesn't have any say-so about whether he is rated or what that rating is, " says Attorney Bob Nelon.

In the U.S., Lulu and other web platforms are legally protected when third parties post their own opinions. That means men would have to track down the anonymous user who made the comments and take her to court.
