Teen Fights Back Against School Over Shorts

Montreal--

An 11th grader at a high school in Montreal is fighting back against her school rules after she says she was singled out because of her shorts.

Lindsey Stocker says administrators kicked her off campus because she refused to change when they asked her to.

Stocker says she felt singled out and humiliated, so she took action.

She printed out and posted 20 posters that said, "Don't humiliate her because she is wearing shorts. It's hot outside. Instead of shaming girls for their bodies, teach boys that girls are not sexual objects."

The signs were only up twenty minutes before a teacher took them down. The next day several girls wore shorts to school in protest of the schools rule.
