Winter-Like Conditions Expected this Weekend

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend.  A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night.  Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area.  Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro.  Breezy NW winds will add to the chill.  Bring plants and pets indoors for the weekend and make sure outdoor vegetation is protected as well.In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

     While protesters are clashing with police in the U.S., officers are getting reprimanded by their own departments in the U.K.
        British police have been warned to stop tweeting while nude, drunk, or eating donuts.
    Freedom of Information requests reveal more than 800 cases involving one of the three since 2009 alone.
        And nearly one in ten of those tweets ended with the officer getting canned.
        The Association of Police Officers says the guidelines are designed to prevent criminals from searching out a cop's personal information to embarrass, discredit, harass, corrupt or blackmail them for their own benefit.
