MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- A plan to visit all 125 FBS stadiums won't be deterred by partial blindness.

Pat Yarber was just one of thousands of fans that celebrated the touchdowns and big hits at Thursdays matchup between MTSU and Marshall in Murfreesboro, but he enjoys the game differently than everyone else.

Yarber, 53, says years of suffering from retinitis pigmentosa and macular degeneration have left him with only 20 percent of his vision.

His condition doesn't keep him from his passion: cheering at college football stadiums on cool autumn nights.

Yarber loves it so much he's on a mission to see a game in all 125 FBS stadiums.

It's become a quest the last couple of years as the vision has gotten worse and I realized, if I'm going to do it, I've got to do it now, Yarber said.

Thursday night, Yarber was just three stadiums away from completing his stadium tour.

That's why MTSU  treated Yarber and a friend to suite tickets, free food and a chance to walk on the same field as the Blue Raiders.

The hospitality's been fantastic, Yarber said.  It means a lot to me that they're that interested.  I truly appreciate it and I'm so glad to be here tonight.

Yarber plans wrap up his stadium tour November 9th in Moscow, Idaho.
