Tullahoma Man Who Shot, Killed Teen Won't Be Charged

TULLAHOMA, Tenn.(AP)--Coffee County District Attorney Mickey Layne says a shooting which injured a man and killed a teenager in early October was determined to be self-defense.

According to police reports, Nicholas Dipietrantio, 74, fired shots from inside his apartment after hearing the glass in his front door shatter. 17-year-old Austin Ferrell was killed and 38-year-old George Taylor was injured.
