Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The challenges over the rollout of the Healthcare.gov website is impacting thousands of Tennesseans trying to sign up. Today on FOX17 THIS MORNING, Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN 7th District) said the website is only the tip of the iceberg for the Affordable Care Act. Representative Blackburn supports efforts to fix existing problems with the website, but eventually would like to see the Affordable Care law replaced or eliminated. Next week Secretary Sebelius is supposed to have exact enrollment numbers for Congress.
