Stream Fox 17 newscasts LIVE starting with Fox 17 This Morning at 5 am and News at 9 pm.

HERMITAGE, Tenn. - New details tonight in a deadly accident at a Hermitage Hobby Lobby. It was 2 years ago this week that Diana Johnson died when her car crashed into the side of that store. For the first time tonight, her daughter is talking about why she feels a Divine hand brought her mother comfort in her final moments. Stephanie Levesque says she feels it was God that ensured her mother did not die alone. A man driving by pulled in to pray for her. Not only did that man unknowingly have connections to Diana Johnson, but tonight he's now a friend of her family. Stephanie Levesque had no idea Ted Willette would keep the letter she wrote in his vehicle to this day. A reminder of the morning he took a different way to work. The turn guided Ted to the wreck. Diana Johnson lost consciousness, hit 4 vehicles and crashed into the side of a Hobby Lobby.

Ted saw it all, but what happened next still brings tears. Ted got in Diana's car to give comfort in her final moments. The story could end there, but it doesn't. Within a few hours both families realized an unexpected connection. Ted and Stephanie's daughters cheered on the same Donelson Christian Academy squad, and they live just a few miles apart. It's why they both believe it was something Divine that guided Ted to the grandmother's dying moments.

There is one mystery. Diana Johnson died from the crash, but doctors still don't know what medical condition made her lose consciousness. Her daughter tells us she believes her mother was heading to the hospital at the time of the crash because her garage and front door were both left open.
