Freeze Warning, Cumberland Plateau Advisory

Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

UPDATE: We're told the fire is now out, and that there are no reported injuries as of yet. It is an abandoned apartment building that was in the process of being renovated.

ANTIOCH, Tenn. - We are following BREAKING NEWS out of Davidson County. Fire crews are battling an apartment fire in Antioch right now. It's at the end of Payne Road near Una Anticoh Pike. We're told several streets are being blocked off to fight the fire. FOX17 has a crew on the way to the scene. Look for updates here and on FOX17 NEWS.
