Winter-like conditions will be possible for middle Tennessee this weekend. A freeze warning is in effect for Friday and Saturday night. Temperatures will drop to around the freezing mark in Nashville and upper 20s outside the metro area. Saturday night will be even colder with temperatures dropping as low as the mid-20s outside the metro. Breezy NW winds will add to the chill. Bring plants and pets indoors for the weekend and make sure outdoor vegetation is protected as well. In addition to the cold, rain showers along the Cumberland Plateau will change over to light snow overnight.

PULASKI, Tenn. -- People stood in line overnight for today's fifth annual Free Dental Day, in which patients can choose from a free dental service.

The event is held at three locations, the office of Organizer Dr. Tesa Reeves at 217 West Jefferson Street, the First United Methodist Church at 200 W. Jefferson St. and Dr. Stacey Garner's office at 118 N 3rd St. Patients can choose from a cleaning, filling or tooth extraction.

Last year, over 300 people were treated and no one was turned away. The event is first-come, first-serve.

Registration is at the First United Methodist Church. There is a brief health screening and it is recommended that patients bring any current medications.
