NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A man who became upset that his order at a fast food restaurant in Madison took too long is in jail.

Clarence Potter went to the Burger King at 331 North Gallatin Pike Tuesday night. The 44-year-old, who thought his food order was taking too long, became irate and asked for a refund, according to Metro Police.

Potter proceeded by pushing a cash register off the counter and onto the floor, when management asked him for a receipt regarding his refund. A broken monitor in the incident is valued at $2,500.

Potter is charged with vandalism and disorderly conduct.
